This Victorian gingerbread house pattern makes a beautiful creation. There's a REASON people call houses with Victorian trim gingerbread houses!
Add your own decorative trim out of gum paste, pastillage, chocolate, marzipan, or even thinned out gingerbread.
Picture this beauty with peppermint sticks supporting the porch roof. Adorible!
Here's the photo this template was modeled after. Decorate it like this or any other way you feel suits your creation.
Here's another example of a similarly-styled Victorian house.

To use your gingerbread house template, you simply print the .pdf file (we suggest printing the pattern pages on thick, card stock paper, but regular is fine too), cut the pattern pieces out of paper, lay them on your rolled out gingerbread, cut along the lines, bake, assemble, and decorate. Don't forget to take pictures along the way!
This pattern builds a house that is roughly 7"W x 5"D x 10"H but you can enlarge or shrink the house by adjusting your printer settings.

Here are some terrific photos from Brian of Washington Terrace, UT. He made this house for his daughter for Christmas 2008. Note that Brian made some modifications to the pattern, changing the windows and adding a "brickwork" chimney. Nicely done!
