This "City House" pattern makes a stunning gingerbread house. Can't you just picture a row of these houses, with varying siding, lining a city street? It can also be used for a terrific haunted mansion.

Here's a variation using just one porch instead of two. Check out the stone work on the house and the metal work on the roof!
It can also make a terrific haunted mansion as you can see here.

To use your gingerbread template, you simply print the .pdf file (we suggest printing the pattern pages on thick, card stock paper, but regular is fine too), cut the pattern pieces out of paper, lay them on your rolled out gingerbread, cut along the lines, bake, assemble, and decorate. Don't forget to take pictures along the way!
This pattern builds a house that is roughly 8"W x 8"D x 12"H but you can enlarge or shrink the house by adjusting your printer settings.
