I just read that in Britain the call it icing sugar and in the US it is called confectioners sugar. I was wondering about the difference myself.

Has anyone tried icing sugar yet? by: Kelly
I've read that icing sugar is just a mixture of confectioners sugar (powdered sugar) and regular granulated sugar. I would think it would work fine, with enough mixing, but I'd love to hear from someone who's tried it.
