I would like an old fashion church that would have lots of stained glass windows and would be lit from inside.

I finally finished up a gingerbread church template for sale on this site (after many requests). You can find it here:

Add stained glass windows by following the techniques on my "Candy Windows" page and the add some lighting to the inside - Remember to cut a hole for the lights in the bottom of your gingerbread church base OR cut a notch out of one of the gingerbread cookies for the light strand to fit through.
