Help....

Is there anything I can put into my gingerbread to keep it hard? Anything some sort of preservative? I live in a humid climate and they tend to collapse within 6 hours.....pls help.

Use a recipe with either honey or corn syrup in it, not molasses. Also, once the gingerbread is cooled, thinly coat with royal icing.

You could also try coating it with edible lacquer. You can get it on Amazon

I also run a dehumidifier during "gingerbread season"
