Because we can!

Gingerbread houses are a long standing holiday tradition not to mention a form of art. The tale of Hansel and Gretel no doubt sparked the desire to recreate some of this fantasy for ourselves on a smaller scale. Some people (including myself) consider this our hobby and really go to the extremes in design and decoration. Check out the 2009 National Gingerbread House Competition photos at www.groveparkinn.com to see what I mean! Click on "Happenings" then "winter" to be directed to the gallery. There are some incredibly talented gingerbread artists all across our country!
