Gingerbread houses are a long standing holiday tradition not to mention a form of art. The tale of Hansel and Gretel no doubt sparked the desire to recreate some of this fantasy for ourselves on a smaller scale. Some people (including myself) consider this our hobby and really go to the extremes in design and decoration.
