What is typically used to make lapped siding on a victorian house. Pictures show long overlapping pieces of siding. I'd like to know what is used and the technique to apply it.
Same question for log cabins. I've seen pretzel sticks, but others appear to have something that resembles log siding. Just curious how that is done.
