Tammy's Victorian Gingerbread House with Chimney
by Tammy Graf
Good Afternoon, I love the fun of makeing gingerbread houses. I love the challenge of it to see if I can top myself the next year. Although it has been a number of years since my last big house project, I never get tired of wanting to do a Gingerbread house. I like to make them colorful. I took a Victorian Gingerbread pattern and made my own Gingerbread House, with a couple modifications, ( I added a Chimney) I had such a great time with this. I'm not sure how many hours it took. I took my time. The house is made from scratch with Royal Icing. Chimney: Chocolate Covered Raisin. Roof: Nickle wafers Side walk: Peppermint patties and those licorice things. Fence. Sugar wafers with 2 tone (red and green) Wilton iceing on top. Pond. Blue icing. Tree , present, snowman: Not gingerbread. yea its' fake. :) Wreaths on front door. Gingerbread. Walls: M&M's. The poinsettia leaves on the fence are those table decorations you throw around on a table.
