oh my god this gingerbread cake recipe is so so good. I tried it on November the 12th 2010 and it truly is the best. I did change a few things though. I put 1 and 1/4 tsp of ginger and I put 1/3 a cup of molasses in and by mistake I put 1 tbs of cinnamon and it turned out excellent. This is my new fav. My family loves this recipe with Smuckers caramel on the plate then the cake then a dollop of whipped cream on the cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Oh and we like it served right out of the oven piping hot yum yum yum.
