On my first date with my boyfriend we went out to the movies on a snowy night. Before the movie we walked through a hotel lobby where gingerbread houses were on display. I had thought that they were decorated by children until he pointed out that the executive chef and his team had made them. I said, I could do better than that. So, for our one year anniversary I made Steve this gingerbread house. To my surprise, it's not as easy as it looks but so much fun to make! I hope he likes it...
