"Miracle in the Desert" (inspired by Taliesin West)

Taliesin West (Frank Lloyd Wright) gingerbread house.
Slivered almonds were used to replicate stone.
A sugar bow and flowers were added to make it look like a gift.
Uplighting was added for a dramatic effect at night.
This was the 1st place winning entry into the 3rd annual Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa gingerbread house contest. Local architects and pastry chefs were paired up to design Frank Lloyd Wright inspired gingerbread houses. The houses will be auctioned off before Christmas with all proceeds going to the Make a Wish Foundation.
