My niece (6) and nephew (4) and I built this house from the model of the new Green Architecture home they are in the process of building to live in. It was a 3 day project. The first day was for design; we built a cardboard version. The second was for test baking - we made two batches of gingerbread dough with 2 extra cups of flour per batch to strengthen it. It was hard work to roll. We baked one wall and some gingerbread men and left the rest in the fridge. We wanted to try out the windows, since we didn't have any lifesavers we used Ricola Cough Drops. They worked fine. The third day, Perry (6) and I went candy shopping and baked the rest of the pieces and put them together and decorated.
