"Glue"

What's the best "glue" to use for sticking small pieces together (ie. little gum paste eyes on little gum paste faces)? Royal icing is too thick and chunky for that intricate work.

vodka is also a good glue. works very well. smother on with paint brush

egg whites work great to glue gum paste together. Just use a small paint brush or tooth pick.
