Freezing baked gingerbread cookies

How do I freeze gingerbread boys (baked from a mix) 1 week prior to decorating?

I freeze gingerbread cookies all the time. I place them in a freezer zip lock bag with a piece of wax paper to sit them on, then another piece of wax paper between layers of cookies. Gently squeeze out most of air and they are good in the freezer for about 3 months.
