I decided to start a new Christmas tradition this year and create a gingerbread house for my children. Following this websites step-by-step instructions and using the free basic template, I had no trouble putting it all together. I used the traditional royal icing and never had one bit of trouble making it stick. Decorating it was great fun, although a bit more tricky than I figured it would be. I was extremely happy with my final product, and so were my kids! Thank you Gingerbread House Heaven :)
Great to see a fellow South Aussie. Aren't they fun. I am having a 4 girl sleepover this weekend and my plan is for each one to take home a gingerbread house they have made all by themselves. I don't have time to do it, but we will make the time to make the memories. After all, that's what Christmas is all about - memories.
