crumbling ginger bread. HELP!!!!!

I have rolled out my gingerbread and cut with templates but as soon as i go to move it onto baking tray it crumbles apart what can i do?

Help for crumbling gingerbread?

When I roll out my gingerbread dough, I do it on parchment paper....cut out my shapes and then lift the paper, with the cut-outs onto a cookie sheet. I put in the fridge for about 15 minutes and then bake. Good luck, I hope this helps.

sounds like the dough is a bit dry or try rolling the pieces directly on a flat baking sheet.
