broken pieces

Any suggestions on repairing broken parts of a gingerbread house? I received a kit as a gift, and when I opened it, some of the pieces were broken.

No icing

Thank you. I need to fix a couple of pieces that aren’t having icing on them. This helps a lot.

cookie house glue

Cookie houses in my family are from 5 generations and are from scratch. Used to have to rebake pieces over and over again until my aunt, who made them also, told me to melt sugar and use it to repair pieces on the back side and it too is edible. Everytime now I thank my aunt for the hint as I took over when my mother no longer was here. I have made 12 this year and last year I did 24 so sugar melted is my buddy. Enjoy. :) :)

Thanks. I used the icing that came with it (it's edible, and really yummy licking off fingers lol) and that did the trick.

I would try either royal icing or piping gel. They both are the super "edible" glues of gingerbread and baking.
