Avery Elementary School My mother won second place with her replica of the grade school that she teaches at. She is the creator of the gingerbread house competition that we have been doing for the last four years. However, this, 2006, was the first year she entered. In the past years she had been so busy making icing for everyone that she hadn't entered.
