This year, my niece suggested we modify our mid-century modern house pattern to include a car port. So of course we had to make a car. My husband created a vintage sedan template. We rolled the dough very thin for better precision when assembling. We tinted and thinned some royal icing and painted the car with a small paint brush. Livesavers wrapped with black licorice ropes made great white walls. We even melted butterscotch hard candy for the windshield. Juju Bees made great headlights.
